Traditional Guitar

This is the model from the 1960's designed by José Ramírez III, applying new techniques to its construction and based on the experience and breakthroughs of the past years. Thus, with the Traditional Line, we continue with our guitar which gives a deep, potent sound, and is rich in harmonics.

This guitar can also be ordered with the Camara fan design.

From 2015, all José Ramírez Professional Guitars can be ordered with a thinner neck, which thickness is 1,9 cm to 2,00 cm on the second fret.

Description

The basic model has six strings. Nevertheless, it can also be built with eight and ten strings.

All guitars are built with Red Cedar top, Indian Rosewood sides and back.  All guitars have an Ebony fingerboard and Cedar neck with carbon fiber reinforcement inside the neck and precision machine heads.  Flamenco models are built with Cypress or Indian Rosewood sides and back. Machine heads (or wooden pegs are specified on order).  (German Spruce top and Madagascar Rosewood sides and back prices available upon request).
